Ardmore Open Farm is a great place for younger children, they can get close to the animals, and there are all kinds of other activities both indoor and outdoor.

How much does it cost to visit Ardmore Open Farm?
Full details of our pricing can be found on our website by clicking About>Pricing. Our rates are €9.00 per adult and €9.75 per child. We also have family packages and full details of these can be found on our website.

Can we bring a picnic?
Yes you are very welcome to bring your own picnic but they must be eaten outside and not in the restaurant seating areas.

Can we rub and feed the animals?
Depending on the time of year we do allow bottle-feeding of some animals and the visitors are more than welcome to get involved. Our animals are typically quite and friendly so you can rub and pet them.

Do you hold special events?
Yes, throughout the year there will be various special events held. Our main special events coincide with Christmas, Easter and Halloween however there may be some surprise events taking place at other times also. We will advertise any special events on our website, Facebook page, Twitter page and local media. Please contact us on 024/87600 if you wish to enquire about any of our events.

Do you host birthday parties?
Absolutely, we love sharing in your child’s special day. We have a range of party packages to suit all. You will find more information on our parties on the Events Tab > Birthday Parties. If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact us and our staff would be more than happy to help you plan the perfect party.

What are your opening hours?
For the Spring months we are open Friday 11am – 3pm, Saturday 11am – 5pm and Sunday & Bank Holidays 12pm – 5.30pm.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we can accept all types of major credit / laser cards however we have a minimum spend policy of €10.00.


What ages does the indoor play area suit?
We have a toddler play area for 0-4 year olds and a children’s area for children 4 years and over. These areas are soft play units and are fully padded so children can play safely. One requirement of the indoor play area is that socks must be worn in these areas for health & safety reasons.
