We are a family run Townhouse and delicious Seafood Restaurant in the historic walled seaside town of Youghal on the beautiful sunny south east coast of Ireland. We also serve a bar food menu daily from 12am- 10pm.

We aim to be “the best place to stay and eat in Ireland” with the finest of locally sourced seafood available.

"Ahernes is a favoured destination for our whole family. It's a family run pub, restaurant and guesthouse, and rightly famous across Ireland. The service is excellent, the food delicious, and the welcome is second to none. There is a top rated restaurant at the back which we'd frequent for a a real treat. But usually we dine in the front two bars. Its less expensive but still top quality and a more relaxed place when we're with our kids. Fish is the specialty, caught locally and fresh that day. But don't ignore the other options they are just as good - and don't miss the brown bread, you'll never taste bread like anywhere else. ". - Martin
